Phuthara River Camp sits right on the banks of the Khwae Noi River in Sai Yok district, making it one of the few riverside camping in Kanchanaburi spots with both tent pitches and private riverside bungalows. The fee is 200 THB per person, with free entry for children under 10. Tent campers and overlanders with rooftop tents are welcome, and tent rental is available on-site. Guests can rent fishing rods and BBQ grills, and mookata (Thai hot pot) is also on offer. Eight gender-separated toilets serve the grounds, with electricity hook-ups at multiple points — notify staff in advance if bringing an electric stove or portable air conditioner. Check-in is between 09:00 and 18:00. Pets are allowed under owner supervision. Open fires on the grass are prohibited, and noise must be kept down after midnight.
