Ban Rabieng Na Pa Bong Piang offers bamboo-hut lodging and tent camping in Chiang Mai province on Doi Inthanon, overlooking terraced rice paddies and a sea of mist. Accommodation starts at 700 THB, including a Khantoke dinner and a simple breakfast of rice porridge, coffee, and Ovaltine; each hut is reserved for one group only and comes with a private bathroom. The campsite in Chiang Mai charges 100 THB per person for tent pitching — walk-ins only, paid at the Rabieng Na Café before choosing your spot. The village has no mains electricity, so bring a power bank and torch; solar-bulb lighting is provided in the huts. All vehicle types can reach the site via the Huai Sai Luang Waterfall route, which is currently in good condition. The best visiting windows are July–mid-August for rice-planting reflections and mist, August–mid-October for green paddies, and late October–14 November for golden rice fields, stargazing, and cooler weather.
