Khao Nor-Khao Kaew is a free campsite in Nakhon Sawan province known for its striking limestone peaks and 360-degree sunrise sea-of-mist views. Located in Ban Daen Subdistrict, Banphot Phisai District, this limestone mountain features a distinctive sharp peak shape surrounded by greenery, making it one of the province's most scenic spots. Entry, parking, camping, and 24-hour restrooms are all free of charge, and the area has lighting along the pathways plus working mobile signal. Small vehicles can access the parking area easily, and there is a coffee shop on site along with a spacious camping ground. Campers often hike up in the early morning to catch the 360-degree view from the summit, climbing roughly 700 steps including a steep near-vertical section, a round trip taking about 1.5-2 hours; friendly monkeys are commonly seen along the trail. In the evening between 6:30-7:00 PM, thousands of bats fly out from Khao Kaew, visible from the Lan Pho area. Security staff patrol overnight and CCTV cameras monitor the site, and a community market runs on weekends near Lan Pho.
