Phu Mu Forest Park offers a campsite in Mukdahan province known for panoramic 360-degree mountain and sea-of-fog views at 356 meters above sea level. It sits about 37 kilometers from Mukdahan city and just 6 kilometers from Nikhom Kham Soi district, under the care of Phu Sa Dok Bua National Park. The area was recently renovated with new buildings and organized facilities. Highlights include Pha Rabiang Tawan for sunrise viewing, Pha Phob Rak for romantic sunset views, and a dragon-tongue flower field blooming near the end of the rainy season along the way to Pha Phob Rak. The site also holds history as a former American radar station from the Vietnam War era, with old structure remains still visible. Entrance fees are 20 baht for adults and 10 baht for children, plus 20 baht for motorcycles and 30 baht for cars. Tents with bedding sets are available for rent starting around 300 baht. Visitors should bring their own food and water, and the narrow paved access road can be slippery during rain.
