Rai Nong Mai is a campsite in Tak province set behind the Muser market with sweeping mountain views and a chance to catch a sea of mist in the morning. Access is easy, with small cars able to reach it comfortably, though the initial concrete road is slightly bumpy. The route passes through a large Muser village with a small grocery shop selling ice and snacks, then continues about 4-5 km further along a dirt road to reach the camping area. There are 3-4 camping grounds to choose from in the area, all close to one another, so campers can pick whichever view they prefer. Camping fee is 150 THB per night. Restrooms are available, though water may be limited at some grounds. There is no electricity, but solar-powered lights keep the area lit at night, and the site owner stays overnight for security. Winds can be quite strong, especially in the early morning, making this a good pick for campers wanting a mountain-view change of scenery while camping in Tak.
