Tao Dam Waterfall is located within Khlong Wang Chao National Park in Kamphaeng Phet Province. The site is known for its distinctive black turtle-shaped rock formations. The waterfall is most impressive during the late rainy season through early winter when water levels are at their highest. The camping ground has limited space and can accommodate hammocks when visitor numbers are low, though tree coverage is sparse. Clean and comfortable restroom facilities are available on site, along with a shop and restaurant. The waterfall itself lies 300 meters below the camping area via a steep but well-maintained concrete stairway. Access from the visitor center covers approximately 33 kilometers, beginning with seven kilometers of paved road followed by 26 kilometers of dirt and concrete track. The route includes two to three sharp hairpin bends that become slippery and muddy during wet weather. Fresh supplies can be purchased at Pa Ka village before reaching the waterfall. The campsite charges 90 baht per person and does not offer equipment rental.
