Mae Yom National Park (Kaeng Seua Ten)

Mae Yom National Park is Thailand's 51st national park, situated in Phrae Province within Song District. The park lies about 70 kilometers from Ban Sa-iab village, roughly one hour by road. Major peaks include Doi Luang, Doi Yao, Doi Khun Huai Pae, and Doi Ton. The main attraction is Kaeng Seua Ten, a four-kilometer stretch of natural river islands in the Yom River with sandy beaches suitable for camping. Another notable feature is Lom Dong, a natural water basin over 100 meters wide atop a mountain that holds water year-round and offers views across teak forests. Visitors can explore large makha trees, Lod Thang Cave, Bat Cave, Ai Ya Ra Cave, and hot springs. The park provides camping areas with electricity, charging points, clean toilets and showers, and parking facilities. Mobile internet signal is not available. Activities include hiking, swimming, boating, wildlife observation, and photography. Fees range from 30 to 1,000 baht per person per night, and camping equipment is available for rent.
