Beautiful mountaintop with stunning views, starry skies, and amazing sea of mist at 1,480 meters above sea level. 360-degree viewpoint for sunset and sunrise. Evening sunlight turns mountain grass golden, clear starry nights, and morning highlight of sunrise with beautiful sea of mist. Short 800-meter hiking trail with steep ascent. Has restrooms, limited water supply stored only during rainy season. Porter service available: round trip 400 baht or uphill only 250 baht.

Clean camping ground with good atmosphere, quiet and peaceful. Windy until 8 PM then becomes still and hot. Very clean and new restrooms with good water pressure. Staff takes good care and is friendly throughout. Shaded area covered by pine trees, can stay during daytime without tarp. Welfare store sells delicious and cheap food, open 8:00-19:30. Morning water is clear and reaches the beach front, gradually decreases and becomes murky. Sandy beach mixed with shells, recommended to wear shoes. Beach sand area is short, then becomes muddy ground. Around 5-6 PM, langurs come down to eat Azadirachta fruits. Beautiful views all the way from turning off Phetkasem Road. Camping area is not very large compared to Hat Wanakon. Has nearby attractions.
Plakao Koey Sai Camping
Beachfront camping ground with cool breeze and clear seawater where you can swim and catch shells, fish, and crabs. Sea breeze is not sticky, nights are cool without needing fans. Wide and long beach with clean restrooms separated for bathing/toilet and male/female. Downside is weekdays might be too quiet with empty beach, very quiet and not suitable for those who like busy atmosphere. Should call to check availability on weekends and holidays as owners worry about not being able to provide good service if overcrowded.

Tadfah Camping Ground at Phu Wiang National Park offers a Pang Ung-like atmosphere surrounded by two layers of mountains with a large basin in the center. Perfect for complete relaxation. The main highlight is stargazing at night - it's the 3rd Dark Sky Park in Khon Kaen province. On new moon nights, it's completely dark allowing you to see stars across the entire sky. Located about 3 kilometers from Pha Chom Tawan viewpoint. No mobile signal or internet available. Park staff provide 24-hour security and assistance. Check-in by 8 PM only. No campfires on ground allowed, gas stoves or charcoal grills permitted. No loud noise after 10 PM. No alcohol and no pets allowed.
Suan Thararin Camp
Waterfall-side camping ground where you can play in water year-round. Fresh green atmosphere surrounded by trees with cool comfortable air. Highlight is the clear waterfall stream flowing in front of the camp, perfect for soaking, playing in water, and listening to flowing water sounds. Great nighttime atmosphere suitable for BBQ, peaceful and quiet. Clean restrooms with 5 rooms separated by gender, hot water in all rooms. Signal available for all networks, food delivery available, electrical connection points available. Portable air conditioners allowed (8,000+ BTU 250 baht/day, under 7,000 BTU 150 baht/day). Free life jackets, inflatable rafts, swimming rings, paddle boats. Free ice available. BBQ pork set 400 baht. Check-in 10:00-18:00, check-out 12:00 (late checkout after 13:00 incurs 150 baht/person fee, after 17:00 charged additional day)

Tao Dam Waterfall
Tao Dam Waterfall in Khlong Wang Chao National Park, Kamphaeng Phet Province, features beautiful black turtle-shaped rocks. During late rainy season to early winter, water levels are high and very beautiful. Camping area is not very spacious. Hammock hanging possible if not crowded, but limited trees available. Clean and comfortable restrooms with good atmosphere. 300-meter steep descent to waterfall via concrete stairs. 33km from visitor center - 7km paved road, then 26km dirt/concrete road. Has 2-3 dangerous steep hairpin curves. Road becomes slippery and muddy when raining. Fresh supplies available at Pa Ka village before reaching the waterfall.
Happy Bar Thung Yang Beach
Beachfront camping site with fine white sand beach, clear and clean water. Hot during daytime but cool breeze at night. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Has 3 toilet points, electricity available (air conditioning for extra charge). No phone signal for all networks, wifi at restaurant doesn't reach camping area. Activities: Free rock climbing, wet raft + coral snorkeling + cliff jumping 599 baht/person includes free meal, kayak rental 100 baht/hour can paddle for squid fishing. Bar and restaurant with large portions at reasonable prices, open 11:00-21:00. Camping area is separate from restaurant area, quite private.
Baion Tha Sai
Camping area surrounded by peaceful nature. Complete with restaurant and cafe all in one place. Cool and comfortable air at night, very quiet, great nature experience. The campsite owner and all staff provide excellent service. Most impressive is Sanjorn (pet) who is very cute and welcomes guests warmly.
Dao Lom Fah Camping
A newly opened campsite in Cha-om District, Saraburi Province with quiet and private atmosphere. Friendly owners, cool weather at 19°C. 7-Eleven nearby at the entrance, papaya trees available for picking. Clean toilets, electricity for extension cords, no dogs disturbing at night. Cooking allowed (please use bricks as base when grilling)

Newly opened camping ground, cute and shady with Korean and Japanese vibes. Features both stone and grass camping areas with campfire spots, clean restrooms with hot water heaters. No phone signal but WiFi available. Also has accommodation rooms.

Park fees: Thai adults 60 THB, children 30 THB, accommodation 30 THB/person/night, vehicle 30 THB. Bamboo rafting 550 THB/raft for 2-3 people. Transport service 2,500 THB/vehicle.

Camping site in Phatthalung with good atmosphere by the water. Some zones are closed due to flooding last year. Free halal breakfast promotion including sticky rice with fried chicken or chicken porridge, local Thai sweets, coffee, Ovaltine. Free BBQ equipment provided. Beautiful and shallow waterfront for swimming throughout the property. Convenient access, only 100 meters from the road.
