Khao Yai Thiang is Korat's favourite camping hill — famous for the view over Lam Ta Khong's upper reservoir and the wind turbines along the ridge, with sunsets over the water.
Check the weather before you go, and contact campsites directly to confirm availability — especially during Thai public holidays and peak season (November–February). Bring rain gear if visiting during the wet season (June–October), and always practise Leave No Trace principles to keep these beautiful spots pristine.
