Taking the bus to toy tour grocery store drop off on Rayong beach was much more inexpensive than taking the bus to the pier. Great site seeing ride(only made 3 bathroom stops)trip for 3 1/2hrs.
It's good to walk by the sea and feeling the fresh air but if you go there in day time it's sunny and hot.
Down hill from the national park entrance, there are sea-front camping areas and a small bridge by the sea to the viewpoint where visitors can see sunset. The walk is easy, suitable for all ages.
Good place to visit you like to walk steep roads. Shocked at the farrang price of 200 baht. Alot to pay considering the only things to see are the views of Koh Samet, a coastal walk along a risky wooded jetty. Other features are a glass walkway over the sea but all you can see is the concrete pillars that support it. A few monkeys walking around so be careful of your belongings. We saw one monkey chase a guy on a motor bike. But it was ok the warden took away the motor bike from the monkey so he couldn't chase anyone else.
The best at sunset. You can catch the ferries from car parking area to the drop off point near the start of walking trail. Last ferry at 6 pm. The fee is included in entrance fee.
