We stayed in January 2026 and we won’t stay here again. GOOD: -Spacious, clean room and bathroom. We paid extra for the sea view. -WIFI works well. -Aircon is strong and works properly. -Checkin & Checkout is fast. BAD: -Balcony was dirty. Lots of bird poop on aircon compressor. -Shower water pressure is low. Hot water takes time to get hot and the hot water temperature is not stable. Sometimes it gets very hot automatically. -No toothbrush set in the bathroom. -Be prepared for 1 single small elevator only. -Breakfast selection was bad. On 2nd day, the croissants were served once only so no replenishment. We were told that breakfast starts at 730AM but at 715AM we saw a large group of people having breakfast already on our 3rd day. -We stayed for 2 nights and on both nights, there were private events with loud singing and performances until 10:15PM. -On the 2nd day morning at 7AM, we woke up because of a few people shouting for some time below at the beach (very inconsiderate).
This place is a really good place for staying and if have a big family. In this place if your family loves playing with water I would recommend this place and in the beach there are boats and jet ski where you have to pay 700 baht.
We stayed at Rayong Chalet Resort during the peak New Year season with our family, including kids. Overall, the experience was much better than many of the reviews suggest. As expected during peak season, it was difficult to get a sea-view room, but we were pleasantly assigned a room right in front of the kids’ water play area, which was very convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. While the food was average, the staff were kind, friendly, and always helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. Overall, a family-friendly resort and a recommended place to stay when traveling with kids.
The Wi-Fi is sooo bad. The room is clean, quiet, and the beach is private, but the Wi-Fi is totally unusable. What’s the point of having it if it doesn’t work? So frustrating.😭
The Hotel building is quite old and run down. New ground floor rooms look nice but still need to use hotel building for breakfast and dinner. Location is good as it’s right next to the beach and walking distance to She Sails Cafe & Beach Club. The parking is limited and not easy to find a space, when busy. Elevator in hotel building is also very old. Overall the stay was fine but I would try another option next time in that area.
