Sam Phraya Beach Camping Ground sits within Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. The moderately sized camping area is shaded by pine trees, allowing campers to stay comfortably during the day without additional tarps. A steady breeze provides relief until around 8 PM, after which conditions become still and warm. The facilities include clean, modern restrooms and showers with reliable water pressure. A welfare store operates from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, offering meals at reasonable prices. The beach consists of sand mixed with shells, so footwear is recommended for walking. Sea conditions vary throughout the day, with clearer water and higher tide in the morning that recedes and becomes murkier by afternoon. Visitors may observe langurs descending to feed on neem fruits during late afternoon around 5 to 6 PM. The approach from Phetkasem Road offers pleasant scenery along the way. The site charges 30 baht per person per night and equipment rental is available.

We came here hoping the sea would be clean enough for a swim. After paying 200B entry per person, we found a beach full of waste and the see looking like an open sewer. You wouldn't want to wade in it in gumboots. I realise it is the end of the monsoon season, but hey, clean up the mess and stop advertising and charging for it until your done.
Great beach to walk, a few monkeys ambling around! Friendly staff and restaurant. National Park tourist, secure and clean. Bring mosquitoe repellent if camping! Relaxing! 👍
Very beautiful beach Calm, we were the only people at the beach It’s quite long. From the entrance if your turn left you will find toilets, restaurant, picnic tables, campground. If your turn right - empty beach with palm trees and cows.
Very pretty beach, and very quiet. Note that the entry fee to this beach is included in the 200 thb entrance fee for all of Sam Roi Yot National Park. Many shady places to rest, with beautiful scenery. There are nice looking bungalows for rent, or you can camp in a tent. There is a restaurant on site. Toilets are very clean. Although I only spent a few hours here, it seemed to me like a very peaceful place to spend all day, or even stay for a few days. Be advised that no alcohol is allowed in the national park.
The beach is full of plastic waste, I was collecting it and the workers gave me a bin bag for it, they should suggest to all gest to do the same. At the same time, they should pay more attention to boy scouts parties where big groups of people contribute to the pollution of the park (neon lights all over the place, very loud sound system until late and very early, trash all over the place (included beer and polyurethane, which is forbidden in the park))
