Notes from our team

Who it suits
The tent lawn sits just a few steps from the beach, so kids can play in the water all day while adults keep an eye on them from the tent. The park has cycling trails around a small lake and mangrove area, making it easy for the whole family to ride together and go birdwatching.
Facilities
The toilets are cleaned regularly, so families with small children don't have to worry on that front. Within the grounds there's a restaurant, a coffee shop, and a small store, so basic supplies are easy to pick up without going far.
Quiet & crowds
Weekends bring a fair number of campers, but the grounds are spacious with shade trees spread across the lawn, so pitches never feel cramped. Those wanting a quiet corner to themselves can still find a private spot without much difficulty.

We took our motor scooter ls through here. It was a nice ride along the long empty roads through the forest, but there was nothing to see and nothing going on. There were museums and an aquarium, but they were all closed. We didn't feel 100baht was right for just riding our bikes through. The food in the cafe however was great. You get much more than what you see on the menu.

Why nobody clean the beach????? The day after they cleaned the beach, so my comment was helpful for the guests here. But it seems the beach was long time dirty. They must care more here.Because this is a beautiful place. We come every year. The restaurant is great. The toilets not all, but o.k. What they must care more is the behavior of many customers. They are noisy, don't care other guests. Engines are running without use the cars. Bad smell too.... This is a problem in the whole country. Nobody care the climate change.....it get more hot and more hot.....The government should teach his people. And the south of Thailand often is very dirty.....teach the people!!!! Thank you.

Beautiful campsite with all the necessary amenities. Restrooms could do with a deep clean/multiple daily checks & cleans. We paid 200baht for our pitch (price for 2 foreigners on our bikes) but beware that they do charge extra for the vehicles as well

Lovely camping right on the beach. Nice swimming. The toilet facilities are super clean with a separate station for washing dishes. There's a cycle / nature trail which goes around a small lake and mangrove area away from the beach. Charges are minimal for such a well-kept site. It looks like they are renovating the bungalows, so that could be a good option in the future as well.

Lovely place to camp. 100 to enter park and camp for free. Shame the restaurant closes at 16.30. No other place to eat. A map of the park would be useful too. Lack of information for tourists

Khlong Wan Beach With respect, I offer my words to Khlong Wan Beach. A quiet, natural place where sea, land, and sky exist in balance. No rush, no noise — only space, simplicity, and calm. For me, this beach is a place of grounding and inner restoration. It reminds us that harmony lives in simplicity and awareness of the present moment. Please protect and respect this beach, keep it clean and natural. Caring for such places is truly good karma and supports balance for all. If mindfulness and inner growth resonate with you, you are welcome to follow my reflections and reviews here on the maps. The spiritual path begins with attention.

I felt very good when I stayed here. The atmosphere here is natural, there are many trees, it feels cool and shady. There are both rooms and tents to stay here. I stayed in a room with the sea at the back of the room and I really liked it, both the sound of the waves and the cool wind. In addition, I also rode a bicycle in the park to see the view of nature and the sea, which is like exercising your legs while enjoying the beautiful view. This is another place that I like.

The campground is clean, safe, and well-maintained. We had a lovely time camping just a few steps away from the beach. Entry fee in front and no additional camping fees until you come with a big trailer or mobile home. Highly recommend!😊

Well shaded camping area right on the beach. There are no power points in the camping areas, only at the main office. It's gets quite busy, but it's still very peaceful.

Peaceful and quiet natural environment just beside the beach. They have nature hiking and biking trails where you can see many birds and also enjoy the sea breeze and the clean air. Best for a weekend website from the city since it's a 4-5 hour drive from Bangkok. There are houses and ribs that can be rented but they also have a large camping area just by the beach.

Khui Camp Kui Buri

Prachuap Khiri Khan

Khui Camp is a campsite in Prachuap Khiri Khan set on a green lawn beside a shallow stream, safe enough for kids to play in the water. The site is quiet at night, with heavy morning dew and birdsong at sunrise. Facilities include electricity, restrooms, a restaurant and drink bar, plus tent rentals for those without their own gear. The standout activity is free kayaking with no extra charge — each guest can book a one-hour slot through the page's chat or by phone at 093-6088808, showing an ID card at check-in; arriving more than 15 minutes late means giving up the slot to the next guest. Foam rafts and foam boats are also free to use, and tables and chairs are provided. Tent camping costs 150 baht per tent, with a 30 baht picnic fee, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks onto the grounds. It's a good fit for family trips or parent-child getaways over long weekends.

Pa La-U Waterfall Campsite

Pa La-U Waterfall Campsite

Prachuap Khiri Khan

Pa La-U Waterfall Campsite charges just 30 THB per adult per night — children camp free — putting a 15-tier waterfall about 60 km from Hua Hin within easy reach for campers in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Fees are paid at the Pa La-U Waterfall entrance unit. Two zones are available: Zone A sits directly alongside the stream, where wading is possible, and Zone B is an open forest clearing on the opposite bank, offering more separation between pitches. Clean toilets serve Zone A, though they require a fair walk from the pitches. There is no electricity on site; campfires are permitted in designated spots, and pets are welcome. AIS mobile signal works at a usable level. Temperatures run cool to cold, with strong winds possible at certain times. December brings the highest water volume at the falls, making it the best month to visit if seeing the waterfall at full flow is a priority. Hiking trails inside Kaeng Krachan National Park start from the campsite.
