Our visit to the camping grounds was relaxing. Upon arriving a sense of peace and tranquillity settled over, certainly a relief from those city stresses. The area is surrounded by lush greenery and the air is fresh, there appeared to be a small stream adjacent to the camping grounds but unfortunately during our stay it had dried up. The grounds looked well maintained and everything appeared to be neat and tidy. The Safari tent's are set up for those that would rather go Glamping than Camping, they consist of a poly canvas cover afixed to a metal frame and polished concrete floor with a sturdy external roof covering the tent. The tent's are well equipped with air-conditioning, double power points, comfortable queen bed and a decent bathroom consisting of a rainhead shower and or hand held shower, wash basin and a nice flush toilet. To the side of the tent is a covered outdoor eating area consisting of beach seating and table. Other onsite facilities available in the grounds include a restaurant, coffee shop, communal bathrooms and outdoor entertaining areas. The staff were all very hospitable and provided friendly helpful service. Based on my experience it appeared to be a great place to visit if you want to experience camping but without the hardship that goes with it.

Nice camping ground. The place is very well kept, clean. We stayed two nights one at Khunkao and one night RV trailer truck. We are happy with nature surroundings and the rooms but for the price paid the breakfast offer very little. The moo krata dinner was good. The front desk lady answers your simple questions with attitude and kept pointing the issues away. I would understand if she is busy but we arrived Friday late afternoon and the place was half empty. For people with kids, this is not as kids friendly as the waterfall area is slippery rocky and deep

Baan Rai Por Piang Camping is a peaceful and charming escape into nature. Surrounded by greenery, mountains, and fresh air, it’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy a slower pace of life. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful, making you feel right at home. Whether you’re sitting by the campfire, stargazing at night, or waking up to birdsong and mountain mist, every moment here feels special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature — it’s a little slice of tranquility you won’t forget.

I found it disappointing. I spent a night here and will never return. The vibe and the people who work here are more important than the facilities. With the exception of a bearded man, they are not friendly or helpful. When they served pork porridge for breakfast which I was unable of eating it, they neither made no attempt to replace that with anything else nor offered an apology. Even worse, they blamed the customer for having not asked beforehand, yet I had no idea what they were offering. This place would become a nice retreat with sincere care and a service-minded attitude.
