Arrived here from Mae Sariang, just enough daylight before the sun set. There are tents for rent as well as basic cabins. Campsite is a little small, may get full during peak times. As the campsite faces the west, only view sunset.
Chong Yen Campground is a hidden gem nestled in nature's lap. The moment you arrive, you're greeted by a serene atmosphere that feels like heaven on earth. The fog that often blankets the area adds a mystical touch to the already breathtaking views. One of the highlights is the Phu Sawan viewpoint, which offers a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Aumpang mountain. It's a sight that will leave you in awe and make you appreciate the beauty of nature. However,
Superb spot but campsite is very small and gets crowded so sleeping close to so many others isn't easy. Worth it for the sunset from the top of Phu Sawan though... And the cold nights! You will get bitten by sand flies if not fully covered up.
This place so beautiful place. View point name is Phu Sawan you must go!!! You can see Aumpang mountain and it's is 360° can see View but you should wear long panties and long-sleeved shirts and sock for protect your body from Black flies. It's so itchy after bite you. Like mosquitoes!!!! Some Spray can help you too but it's too much!! Thus place to good for looking bird 🐦 and a lot animal there. I saw monkey stand on the road and fox closed to our camp. It's amazing
We drove out at night and reached the national park around 5:30 am, spent our entire morning in the park. Most visitors at that time came for camping which you can rent the room or tent from the park. The road inside the national park is zigzagged and requires some driving experiences, so driving a little bit slow would help. There is a restaurant and a gift shop inside the park which opens around 8:30 am, but not many goods. Great place to spend a lovely weekend with your love ones.
