Doi Mon Mak
Doi Mon Mak or Doi Muen Mak. A beautiful 360-degree panoramic viewpoint located in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai. Originally, this area was farmland belonging to the Lawa (Lua) hill tribe, where they grew rice and areca (betel) palms. The land was later exchanged using tens of thousands of bunches of areca nuts, which is how the place came to be called “Mon Muen Mak” (Hill of Ten Thousand Areca Nuts). Food and drinks available including grilled pork pan. Some steep road sections but regular cars can drive up. Perfect for relaxing, beautiful views and great mist experience
