Perfect place gor a few relaxed days at the beach camping. We liked it, but 250 bath per person per night rather on the higher side for just camping.
Upon arriving at the reception to ask for permission to camp and to pay the required fee, we immediately noticed a significant negative change in attitude once we, as foreign tourists, asked to camp. It was seven long days of perfect camping right in front of the sea. Until, at a certain moment, several 4x4 vehicles suddenly arrived with people of Thai origin. Within minutes, they began provoking us in Thai and trying to create a conflict. We calmly tried to defuse the situation, but those Thai individuals eventually became aggressive, speaking surprisingly good English and quoting racist and “anti-farang” remarks. Once again, we managed to calm the situation without engaging in conflict, as we know how to behave properly in someone else’s country. Then a Thai couple decided to set up their huge tent just one meter away from our small tent, even though they had hundreds of meters of empty space available. It was a night from hell, filled with air-conditioning noise, TV sounds, and people laughing and coughing nonstop throughout the night. The next day, we packed up and decided never to return.
