Fantastic tropical forest with a narrow lane in the woods leading to a clean sandy beach with limestone rocks hidden between the hills. The route to the beach takes around 30 min one way with rough surface which needs a bit of climbing at times, better to wear proper shoes.
One of the greatest beaches i have visited in Thailand so far. Recommended to drive all the way to the end of the beach, after you went through the gate. There are also basic facilities with changing rooms, toilets and a small shop for drinks available. The beach is endlessly long and completely empty (I was there on a saturday). Fantastic soft sand, crystal clear water and shade available from old trees. Perfect for kids or babies to travel to due to its quietness. Waves were a bit high on that day for kids to swim. For adults possible and refreshing. Plenty of parking available and multiple different spots to reach the beach along the way.
A wonderful National Park, peaceful, tranquil, superbly managed and clean throughout. There are many places to enjoy the long stretch of pristine beach and go for a refreshing swim, or quietly contemplate whatever is on one's mind. Shower and toilet facilities are available in the area. Also, remnants of the old tin dredging facilities offer the opportunity to appreciate the past. As a bonus, the National Park has bungalows for rent and provides camping ground facilities - what more do you want.
Well, to be honest, in this case I'm writing this review to warn people! 1. The entrance fee is 200 baht per adult (a hundred is twice as much as in most parks). 2. If you go the regular route, you walk 7 km just along the road and at the end you come to a river that flows over rocks... 3. At the end of the regular path, you come to a closed gate where it says that you cannot go further without a guide, and to get a guide you need to go back to the beginning of the park... A guide can be booked in advance for 700 baht per person :/. 4. If you try to go without a guide, the Thais will show all their hostility to the maximum (I do not recommend doing this)! In general, as a conclusion - the nature is amazing, but the organization itself is DISGUSTING! There is no point in going there without a guide, so plan on 900 baht per person for a visit! There's good in it and take care of yourself, they say there are snakes and tarantulas there (but we didn't meet a single individual) The photo was not taken on the standard route.
Beautiful unspoilt and deleted beach! The beach goes on for miles! It's worth the small admission fee just for the peace and quiet. Definately worth a visit.
