เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี มีลำธารธรรมชาติหลังลานกางเต็นท์ให้เล่นน้ำได้โดยตรง ค่ากางเต็นท์เพียง 30 บาทต่อคืน และมีค่าชมอุทยานเพิ่มอีก 40 บาทสำหรับผู้ใหญ่ และ 20 บาทสำหรับเด็ก พื้นที่มีร่มไม้ปกคลุมตลอดวัน อุณหภูมิกลางคืนอยู่ที่ประมาณ 26 องศาเซลเซียส เหมาะสำหรับการนอนค้างแรม ภายในเขตฯ พบสัตว์ป่าหลากหลาย ทั้งนกยูง ลิง และผีเสื้อนานาพันธุ์ มีเส้นทางเดินชมน้ำตกเขาสอยดาว 9 ชั้น ระยะทางประมาณ 1,800 เมตร เหมาะกับทั้งผู้เริ่มต้นและผู้ที่ต้องการออกแรงพอประมาณ อุทยานเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ 08.00 น. ถึง 17.30 น. มีร้านค้าสวัสดิการจำหน่ายอาหาร เปิดทุกวัน 08.00 น. ถึง 20.00 น. มีห้องน้ำแยกชาย-หญิง แต่ไม่มีไฟฟ้าที่จุดกาง ควรเตรียมอุปกรณ์ชาร์จไฟสำรองมาเอง ที่ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี

I arrived at the park as soon as the gate opened and was the first to enter. The officer at the entrance was exceptionally kind to me. First, I had breakfast by the stream, where I spotted quite a few small hornbills. Then I continued along the trail leading to the waterfall. The trail is challenging, especially during the rainy season, when many sections become extremely slippery and dangerous. For me, it was perfect—about as close to nature as you can get. The trail was long and fascinating, and I was completely alone for the entire hike. The waterfall was incredibly beautiful and powerful. I didn't expect it to be so impressive. The officer at the entrance to the waterfall trail was also very kind and even gave me a bag of fruit. Thank you very much.
We took our 8-year-old daughter on a hike to the waterfall about 1.5 km away. So our round trip was about 3km, which took us nearly an hour and 20 minutes. The staff told us that we would be back to the starting point at 3pm. It's a little challenging for kids, but very enjoyable.
This national park, so there is a fee of entry. It has many levels. The first level has camping sites. The second level is about 15-20 minutes away (by car), be careful driving to and from this level due to wildlife. This second level is around 300-400 square meters big with a steam running along side it. To get to the waterfalls you need to walk through a jungle path and it can take 20-30 minutes. There are many level of the waterfalls and it can take up to 2 hours walking to get to the top level (as the path are not well walked after level 4). Which you are on the top level, the ranger advised to leave around 2pm.
Look no further! One of the best national parks we visited in Thailand. The walk through the forest and the challenging climb to reach the main waterfalls were just incredible. The entry fee for foreigners (200 THB) isn’t as inflated either (looking at you Khao Yai 😒)
Definitely one of the underrated locations. Personally, I liked it there. Ideal for those seeking tranquility and privacy. It is possible to rent a tent. Beautiful nature around. Ideal for an overnight stay.
