Thung Kik Mae Ping National Park

Thung Kik is a large natural grassland surrounded by dry dipterocarp forest and mixed deciduous forest, located approximately 15 kilometers from Mae Ping National Park headquarters. The area serves as a habitat for various wildlife species including barking deer, deer, sambar deer, numerous bird species, and wild rabbits. The environment is quiet with cool weather, suitable for relaxation and nature walks. The camping area provides facilities including restrooms, shower rooms, parking, and a shop. Visitors can observe wildlife and enjoy stargazing in the evening. Campers must bring their own tents and can reserve space in advance through the National Parks reservation system, with each booking accommodating up to five people. Park entrance fees are 20 baht for Thai adults and 10 baht for children, while foreigners pay 100 baht for adults and 50 baht for children. Vehicle entry costs 20 baht for motorcycles and 30 baht for cars. The camping fee is 30 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.
