Lan Du Duean is situated within Doi Phu Kha National Park in Pua District, Nan Province. The campsite offers two spacious open-air camping zones near main road 1256 and viewpoint 1715. Positioned in a tranquil natural setting, the site provides wide mountain vistas with good ventilation and cool weather. Campers can enjoy views across the landscape, watch the sunset, and take photographs of the surrounding terrain. The site includes parking facilities, clean restrooms and shower rooms separated by gender, a designated cooking area with filtered drinking water and running water, and an on-site restaurant. Additional facilities include a viewpoint for observing the sea of mist and sunrise opportunities. National park entrance fees are 40 baht for adults and 20 baht for children. Camping costs 30 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is available.

The weather is cool and pleasant, and the scenery is absolutely stunning, lush greenery, rolling hills, and peaceful vibes all around. A perfect place to breathe deeply, recharge, and feel close to nature.
Our friends brought us here to see the endangered Chompoo Phuka Tree... We were glad to come in the right time (beginning of March) so lots of flowers on the tree. These trees are going to disappear in the world if we don't protect them! We also drove up to the Phu Kha Viewpoint. Unfortunately it's a bit foggy that day so couldn't see the beautiful scenery there. The museum was closed...Not sure if that's temporary... We bought some rice over leaf, nuts, and grains with the roadside merchants. It's a fun place to explore if you have time, I'm sure.
The campground is not big but the view is very nice. The shower room is clean. It’s not so far from the view point 1715. There are two small trekking routes.
The national park was as said, just a campsite, which cost $200 to enter, and an additional $50 parking fee if you're driving through. The bungalows were basically all unoccupied on the day of my visit, giving it a slightly eery but tranquil feeling. There is a 4 km hiking trail near the helicopter field, almost being overgrown with shrubs, worth a visit if you want to experience a walk in the deep woods, it's not a close loop though, probably ends at the carpark near the entrance.

Khun Sathan Camping is a campsite in Nan province known for its year-round cool climate and wide-open, unobstructed mountain views. It's about an hour-plus drive from Phrae, making it an easy escape from the heat. The Forester Sapan sits on a hilltop in Nan province with a full 360-degree panoramic view and dense sea of fog, making it one of the top campsites in Nan during the rainy season. The site is about 3 km from Wat Sapan, and all vehicle types including small cars can reach it without difficulty. The fee is 150 THB per person per night. There is no mains electricity hook-up, but a charging point for mobile phones is available. Facilities include four shared toilets (separated by gender), a dishwashing area, and a rubbish disposal point. There are no on-site shops, so campers are advised to stock up before arrival. A swing seat and a viewing staircase are provided for enjoying the mountain scenery and views over Sapan village. Walk-ins are accepted with no advance booking required.

This campsite in Nan sits just before Ban Huai Mi 3, with a clearly marked entrance. Facilities are basic — two toilet blocks but no electricity — so bring your own food, lighting, and warm layers as nights can get cold. Road access is rough: motorbikes and 4WD high-clearance vehicles are the recommended options, 2WD high-clearance vehicles can manage in dry conditions, while low-clearance cars and sedans are not advised.
