It was such a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere. Walking there felt like being in a forest on a hanging bridge surrounded by nature and trees everywhere. The weather was perfect, the air felt fresh, and the whole place was so peaceful and relaxing. I really enjoyed the vibe and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves nature and calm places 🌿✨

The Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Chiang Mai is an absolutely magnificent destination nestled in the lush mountains of Mae Rim that offers an unparalleled immersion into Thailand’s rich plant diversity and natural beauty. This expansive, world-class conservation and research center is wonderfully curated, featuring an incredible network of walking trails, vibrant flower beds, and a spectacular complex of glasshouses that showcase everything from rare orchids and carnivorous plants to a dense, humid tropical rainforest simulation complete with an indoor waterfall. A major highlight of any visit is the thrilling Canopy Walkway, a suspended steel mesh bridge winding high above the treetops that provides breathtaking panoramic views of the forested valley below. Whether you are strolling through the peaceful banana avenue, admiring the striking desert house filled with thousands of cacti, or simply enjoying the crisp mountain air and majestic scenery, it stands out as an exceptional, highly recommended sanctuary for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone looking to experience the serene highlands of northern Thailand.

A truly incredible collection of plants. The plants are all very healthy and are clearly well cared for. The different species are all clearly labelled. Sure some of the building are in poor shape but that’s not the point of the botanic gardens. I don’t get why anyone would complain about this place, it’s spectacular. Also, if there’s not enough blooms for your liking then I’d suggest booking your trip in a different month. A botanic garden that goes beyond any that I’ve seen. A must visit!
