Tent rental costs 225 THB per tent per night, or bring your own tent for just 30 THB per person per night. Park bungalows are also available from 300 to 500 THB per night, some with private bathrooms. Bookings for tents or bungalows can be made by calling 043001753 before 3 PM. During the rainy season, visitors are advised to bring flashlights, rain gear, mosquito repellent, insect repellent, and sturdy wind-resistant camping equipment. The area is known for cool breezes and quiet surroundings, with limestone cliff views as the standout feature of camping in Khon Kaen.

Update, December 2025: Rented two small cabins for two nights, 300 baht each per night. Cabins are very small but ok to sleep. Of it's a cold night, you might want to bring an extra blanket. Showers were clean, as were the toilets, but at the cabins they have only squat toilets. As before, park staff were very helpful. The trail to the viewpoint was open this time, but staff warned us about unsafe trail conditions. We did walk up the mountain and enjoyed the view. We went to the cave and waterfall as well this trip. If you come during the week, be sure to bring food. The restaurant inside the park sells only snacks Monday through Thursday. Original review, February 2025: Entry was 100 per foreigner, 20 per Thai, and 30 for the car. Not much to do here, except for camping and visiting the cave. For camping, you can bring a tent, but there's not much shade. You can also rent a large house or a small cabin. Hiking trails were closed for maintenance, but it looks like the view from the mountain top would be nice. If you want to visit the cave, the cost is 100 per person for round trip transportation from the camping area, total time is about 3 hours. Self-tour is not permitted. We did not visit the cave on this visit, but I will update this review after we do see the cave.
New Years day , 10 of us , and Free ! Nice surprise , beautiful day. Went beyond Park hdq to the left // great lake, activities for kids on and off water, cafes, bungalows , floating platforms, jet skiis !!! Nearby was " Bat Mountain " , lucky timing at sunset - what a show !!!
This is a popular spot, not far from my home, about 120km. Go there for bicycle ride and hiking. Stay in tent but recommend tiny houses for +/- 300THB. For families bigger two bedrooms are available. Beautiful sunset and nice scenery with caves and a big bat cave nearby.
Very good looking national park campground set up with amazing mountain scenery. Helpful staff and big campground with multiple bathroom blocks. Bring your own tent or rent one from the national park. Bungalows are available too. There's a small cafeteria and real coffee. I didn't get to camp here this time but I'm already planning to come back.
A beautiful national park campground by day that can be eerie after dark. The small bungalows we stayed in were clean but spooky. The park allows cooking on rental charcoal stoves at the larger lodges, which was nice for the group of students with whom we went. The greatest thing about this campground is that there were no biting insects at all - not a single mosquito or ant when we visited! The trade-off is that in the valley where the campground is located, there was no breeze and the air was wet, regardless of the time of day or night and the temperature. This is an acceptable trade off. Regarding dual pricing, the posted sign does have different prices for Thais and foreigners, but it's pretty easy to talk your way out of this, as with most national parks in this country.
