We visited for the first time two weeks ago with a friend’s family. Among the many campsites in Suan Phueng, this was a very quiet campsite located almost at the beginning of a stream. To give an overall review first, I personally liked it and it was a place I would like to visit again. To briefly summarize the pros and cons, Good points were - Noise management, as mentioned by many visitors. - There are various campsites under tall trees or along stream. (You can reserve your desired site in advance.) - It is located upstream of the stream, so the water volume is not large, but the water is cool and really clean.(no green moss on the rock) - The service and managing of the owner couple are excellent. - The mountains and trees along stream provide wide shade, so you don't have to rush to pack up your tent to avoid the morning sunshine. - Nice coffee and drinks.😋 - The staff cleans the bathroom regularly, so it is very clean. The downside were -The road to the campsite is unpaved, so it is a bit dusty. -The toilet and shower booth is clean and well maintained, but there is no hot water and it feels a bit old. (These downside was not big deal for us actually. 😊) I highly recommend a visit to those who want to quietly relax in nature alone or with family.👍
Getting yourself immersed into the nature. This place offers you that much privilege of absorbing your spirit into the greenery, however if your neighbours (campers) don’t feel the same way, you might miss that. In fact, what they advertise heavily is on the quietness but sadly ‘quietness’ level is varied. Reporting them seemed to be wasting your energy because they were opinionated with their own standards. Investing energy and time to experience this tranquility, of course the expectation was high. Importantly, I think treating their locals with respect should be the case here as well since your customers using the same road with them. I do like the lady who takes care of the place at her high spirit and her coffee is amazing.
Peaceful environment: The campsite emphasizes peace and quiet. They cater to guests seeking relaxation and nature immersion, not those seeking a party atmosphere. Cleanliness: The Facebook page mentions cleanliness as a priority, suggesting well-maintained facilities. Clear rules: The campsite has clear rules and regulations, promoting a respectful and harmonious environment for all guests.
If you want a peace for your vacation. You must go here. Peaceful, friendly with camper like me. There are facilities that worth with the fee. Have a la carte food before the camp around 950 meters, tasty and very cheap. The camp also has grilled pork (Moo Krata) service, tasty too. There are also sell some groceries stuff. Power outlets have scattered points. There is also a water heater, good WiFi. Accommodation fee is 150 baht. Children under 10 years old are free. The service from the owner is excellent. Weakness as I can see are too much dust and leaves always fall to my tent and the way get in to the camp is pretty challenge for driving 😁 I’ll be back for sure
It’s a nice place that’s covered with green tall trees. The camp ground is located next to a green stream flowing from a forest. The fee for camping is 150THB per a person. The toilets are quite good.
