The climb is around 900 meters all steps so a little challenging. Went up at sunset and had the peak to ourselves, sunrise was much busier but worth the view.
We left Bangkok at 3 am and arrived around 7 am. It was a bit rainy that day, but the weather was pleasant and not too hot. The road to the top of the mountain was extremely slippery, and we got stuck in the mud several times. It was very exciting. Once we reached the top, we found small villages with lots of dogs. I was surprised to see people riding small motorcycles up and down the mountain. There weren’t many people around, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. It gave us very nice and memorable experience. 10/10!
great place to get away from city life and enjoy nature be aware that access to the peak is not easy have to tackle rough terrain
Let me be clear. I am a obese person and it is extremely difficult for me to climb. It's been 3 days since climbing and my legs still hurts really bad. More on my video: https://youtu.be/vSFYDcXQVqM?si=Bg9ZmsLJOx6LR5hK I am glad I reached the summit with my wife but the 900m of steep climb was really really difficult in many ways. 1. It is extremely steep and my legs gave away within 10 steps. 2. Since it was off season, there were no one else but us for the nearly 3 hours we spent there. Which means can't get help if anything were to happen. 3. Since it was off season and no one being there, there were enormous amount of bugs, worms and what not filled throughout the place. Was it worth it? Yes, since it was off season and no one being there, we got to enjoy all of nature's beauty alone and we loved it! The breeze at the summit was fresh and cool soothing all our pains. The view was fantastic and we were literally in the middle of 3 national parks. If you were to visit there, I recommend to travel light and carry just a water bottle. I couldn't even lift my arm while climbing. One of the road less traveled, conquered! Better to travel there during high season.
Good place to Camping. need truck to get to the camping point. Off road with little mud and small bump. Not many Sharp Turn and not a lot of slope. Recommend for good setting 4x4 Car
