Pack your bags, tents and go there!
The national park has a great camping spot by a scenic lake with a cool, refreshing breeze. The office offers trail guides for three routes (3 km, 4 km, and 8 km). On weekdays, route availability may vary, and you can walk in to check with the office before 10 AM. On weekends, all three routes are available, and you can either book in advance or walk in. There’s also a 2.4 km trail around the lake and a 1.5 km walk to a viewpoint that visitors can go on their own without a guide.
Amazing place to camp or just enjoy nature! They also have fan and ac rooms available at very affordable prices. There's a common kitchen and toilets around if you plan to camp out. One of my favorite spots to date here in Thailand!
Atmosphere is great. Amazing area to camp in, ground was nice and flat to sleep on. Felt safe with a lot of national guards around. There were plenty of attractions like waterfalls and nearby hills to explore. But be careful of high winds at night!
The parking space is very busy during active long holiday weekends. The staff are friendly and have maintained well the area. Smoking area located near the entrance parking area near the Visitor Center. Rent tents and accessories plus food at the main visitor center. Night the park closes at 10:00 P.M. and drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the area. Also one can order Korean Barbecue (Moo Kratha) 300 Baht small and 500Baht Jumbo. Recharge point phone and other accessories at main the reception area but there is no electrical points for attaching rice cookers or water kettle. Free trolleys are at disposal to carry your stuff. The short trail around the lake is super easy.
