Great campsite not too far away from Bangkok. Very well managed. Reservation is recommended as it is always packed during the weekends.
Chonburi Mountain Camping is a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The view is peaceful. The air is fresh. It’s quiet, clean, and surrounded by trees. The owner is a very friendly guy. Easy to talk to and always ready to help. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights? Garfield, the camp’s cat. He’s friendly, chilled, and always around to keep you company while you’re camping or just relaxing by the tent. If you’re looking for a calm place to unwind and disconnect, this is it. Highly recommended.
Based on my camping experience. This place have nice trees for shadows. Even 1-2pm its not that hot. Windy as well because located beside the mountain. You have an option as well to do full camping or just glamping (glamorous Camping) both are great!
The campsite is great, but the access road is gravel, and the wind is very strong. The staff responding to the Facebook chat was a bit curt and did not say thank you at all. She should be more polite and at least thank customers after payment. There are many cats around, and at night, several dogs come wandering around. You need to store food carefully and shake out your belongings, as the dogs have ticks. The wind is strong, so make sure to secure your tent properly. It gets crowded, and even before check-out time, there were people unloading things behind the tents, causing pressure. I would recommend going on a weekday instead.
Nice view only 1 hour drive from bkk. They have hair dryer & hot water in toilet
