CampTales in Chonburi puts every tent pitch directly on the waterfront at Nong Ri reservoir — the closest any campsite in this area gets you to the water's edge. Nightly fees are 250 baht, and camping equipment is available to rent on site. Electrical hookups are provided throughout the grounds, and the clean, gender-separated bathrooms all have hot water. A 24-hour security guard is on duty. Water activities include fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming, making this camping in Chonburi a strong choice for families and groups who want more than a walk in the trees. A full-service restaurant, coffee shop, and BBQ facilities mean you do not need to pack all your own food, and a shop on site covers day-to-day supplies. The camp is pet-friendly and has parking. Clear skies over the reservoir also make it a reliable spot for sunset, sunrise, and stargazing.

We spent 2 days and 1 night here and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Including transportation, our trip cost around 700 THB per person, which we found to be very reasonable for the experience. We stayed in one of the cabins and brought our cat with us, which made the trip even more special. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The food was delicious. I ordered the pasta while my partner had the stir-fried pork, and both dishes were enjoyable. We also had a 500 THB mookata dinner, which was a nice way to end the day. In the morning, complimentary porridge was provided for breakfast, and the coffee was good as well. One of the highlights of our stay was kayaking with our cat! There was only one kayak available during our visit, but since the campsite wasn't crowded, we didn't have to wait. It would be great if more kayaks were added in the future, especially during busier periods. The toilets and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of our stay. My only suggestions for improvement would be to add more kayaks and to trim the overgrown grass around the sides of the cabins. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable experience and would happily visit again.
