One of the most beautiful preserved island in Thailand. The scenery was stunning beautiful, the beaches and ocean are crystal clear. There are hiking trails who those who want to experience certain viewpoints from different altitudes The most convenient way to reach there is by certain kinds of seaway vehicles; personally, booking a local group tour should be the most optimal choice.

It was an amazing experience! I visited this beautiful island near Phuket with my friend, and it was my first time exploring such a stunning destination. This trip gave me unforgettable memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. Similan Islands are definitely worth visiting if you want to see some of the clearest blue water around Phuket. The color of the sea was honestly beautiful — from light turquoise near the beach to deeper blue further out. On a sunny day, the view looks almost unreal, and the photos barely need any editing. It is a great place for beach photos, boat views, and just enjoying that classic tropical island feeling. That said, it is not the most effortless trip. The boat ride can be long, so motion sickness pills may be helpful if you get seasick easily. The sun is also very strong, so sunglasses and sunscreen are a must. One useful tip: before going onto the island, shoes may be collected, so it is better to bring water shoes or diving socks. Some areas can feel hot or uncomfortable to walk on barefoot. Overall, the trip can be a bit tiring, but the sea is truly beautiful. I would recommend it for travelers who want clear water, island views, and a memorable day trip from Phuket.

We did the Similan Island & Surin package trip from Phuket & it was an incredible experience overall. The boat journey takes about two hours, & along the way you stop at 3 different snorkelling & swimming spots - each for around 30 minutes to an hour. The underwater visibility is stunning & well worth the stops. Once you reach the island, the beach is absolutely breathtaking - some of the most crystal clear, blue water you’ll ever see. The kind that looks unreal even in photos. There are also small hiking trails on the island which are worth exploring if you’re up for it. A few things to keep in mind: it does get very crowded due to the sheer number of boats that come in, so if possible, try to visit during the off-season for a much more peaceful experience. Food options on the island are limited & prices are on the higher side (as expected for an island), so we’d recommend bringing your own snacks or meals if you’re particular about what you eat. Despite the crowds, it’s a world-class destination & absolutely worth doing. Just plan smart, go off-peak if you can & enjoy one of Thailand’s most stunning natural gems.

What an amazing experience. We been on an island hopping tour with Fantastic Travels, boat fantastic 9 with Nina and Siri and it was the best day trip we had. We started from Krabi so it was a very early wake up but well worth it.
