Easy trip about 40 minutes out of town. Easy walk along the ravine where deep cliff walls surround the fast flowing water. There is also a calm area where you can swim. There are hiking trails in the area also. Has a nice coffee shop on site
I think it’s a beautiful place with very nice routes where you can really enjoy nature. The only downside is that it’s you have to sign a form when you enter and sign again when you leave. When we came back, our exit had already been signed for us. I think this is a very dangerous situation — almost criminal. Aside from that, it’s a very beautiful place.
It is for nature lovers and the trail is a walk that turns into a hiking trail. So bring your hiking boots some coconut water, snacks and whatever you like to use to hike. The scenery is amazing I even had a little moment just admiring the beauty that was in front of me. And I was fortunate enough to experience this place.
One of the most impressive and experiential places in the nature surrounding Chiang Mai. The route along the riverbed provides wonderful views. Those interested have the opportunity to swim in the river water in the camping area. Not to be missed!
Ob Khan National Park and the canyon were a really great surprise. The walk is super easy, but still a lot of fun because most of the trail goes over natural rocks and wild stones, which makes it feel a bit adventurous without being difficult. The canyon itself is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. Along the way there are a few places where you can jump into the water for a quick swim, but it is really important to ask the ranger first, because the current can sometimes be very strong. You can spend just 30 minutes there, a couple of hours, or even a full day if you feel like exploring more. There are some caves in the area and a roughly 10 km hike for people who want a longer walk, so it works well both for casual visitors and for those who enjoy proper hiking.
