ลานกางเต็นท์น้ำตกแม่เตี๊ยะตั้งอยู่ในอุทยานแห่งชาติออบหลวง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นพื้นที่กางเต็นท์หน้าน้ำตกที่นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถนอนฟังเสียงน้ำไหลตลอดทั้งคืน อากาศเย็นสบาย กลางคืนอุณหภูมิลดลงถึง 18-19 องศาเซลเซียส บริเวณนี้ไม่มีไฟฟ้า สัญญาณโทรศัพท์มือถือ และอินเทอร์เน็ต กลางคืนมืดมากจนมองเห็นเพียงดวงดาวบนท้องฟ้า และอาจพบสัตว์ป่าได้ ห้องน้ำตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขาห่างจากพื้นที่กางเต็นท์ ไม่มีไฟฟ้าภายในห้องน้ำจึงต้องเตรียมไฟฉาย สามารถชาร์จอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าได้ที่ด่านตรวจซึ่งอยู่ห่างลงไป 7-8 กิโลเมตร ร้านอาหารเปิดให้บริการจนถึงเวลา 21.00 น และรับชำระเป็นเงินสดเท่านั้น ถนนขึ้นอุทยานแคบและโค้งเยอะ มีความชันเป็นช่วง รถขนาดเล็กสามารถเดินทางได้ แนะนำให้ซื้อสิ่งของจำเป็นที่อำเภอจอมทองก่อนเดินทางขึ้นมา ค่าเข้าพื้นที่กางเต็นท์ 30 บาทต่อคนต่อคืน มีเต็นท์ให้เช่า 250 บาท และอุปกรณ์นอนรายการละ 30 บาท

We spent a night camping here and it was so good. Atmosphere was amazing, people were quiet and helpful, staff were great. We were lucky to visit during full moon so the waterfall can clearly be seen in both day and night. Speaking of faculties/hospitality, they had everything ready here from tents to bedrolls, as well as food stalls, so you can just go there empty-handed if you want. Toilet was also nice considering it’s basically in a middle of nowhere. The road to the waterfall is a bit cramped with plenty of curves and slopes, so do be careful. Come visit before they close up shop for a few months during smog season!
Went here as probably the only non-Thai person around. Rented a Honda Click 120cc to get to this high altitude place. Fear and anxiety started to kick in as we approached unending ascents. Thankfully, the road was well-paved although narrow in some areas. Be careful of sharp turns as you will encounter plenty of them. Entrance fee was around 100 tbh for non-Thai. After paying for the ticket, you have to proceed for another 4km until you reach to waterfalls. In front of the falls is a wonderful spot for camping. Grass and trees were abundant. And there's a clean toilet available.
Quite place for camping. Super nice waterfall in Chiangmai. Take a while to access by the rural road. Not many activities to do, but superb for relaxation with nature.
Very beautiful waterfall. Nice campground and have some small restaurants and coffeeshop. National Park entry free was 100 baht for foreigner.
It is closed today 20/11/25 because of a lot of rain should be open tomorrow. 21/11/25 It is a nice ride out to it and you can continue on to the 108 if you are going to Mae Hong Son There is a Wat and they are harvesting rice at the moment and some lovely fields.
