Atmosphere

The site is split into zones — rocky, grassy, on a small hill, and along the stream — with wide, rope-marked lots under scattered large and small trees. Cars can park close to each pitch. Noise is strictly managed: no loud sound from 22:00 to 7:30, and party crowds aren't accepted, so most people here genuinely come to sleep well.

Water & swimming

A stream runs through the site — clear and shallow, with a water level just right for children to play in. Some streamside lots stay shaded all day with direct access to the water. Parking in front of the water access points isn't allowed, so every tent can reach the stream easily.

Best time to go

Early January gets properly cold — a good time for camping in cool air — though the stream shrinks in the cool season, so swimming is more limited than at other times of year. Mosquitoes and flies appear around dusk, and in the rainy season large toads and skinks may come out of the bamboo clumps, so keep tents zipped.

Pets & families

Small dogs are welcome here, as long as they don't disturb other guests — constant barkers aren't accepted — and there's a spot to dispose of pet waste. The camp's own chubby dog makes the rounds greeting tents, and the shallow stream suits children well, making this an easy site for family trips.

• •No portable air conditioners; fine of 1,000B per unit if caught using one
• •No hot air ovens/heaters
• •No coil-type electrical appliances (gas and charcoal are allowed)
• •No smoking of any kind at the tent sites; smoke far away from other people
• •After unloading, move your car to the designated parking area; no parking blocking the way down to the water
• •Quiet hours from 22:00–07:30; not suitable for party-goers, drinkers, or loud groups
