What makes it special

What stays with people most is the long, open sweep of the view from the terraces — with multiple levels to choose from, each offering a different angle and sense of privacy. The eye follows the valley far into the distance, and morning and late-afternoon light on the ridgelines is when the camp looks its best. A viewpoint near the lawns makes an easy spot for coffee in the cool air, and even those who drive for hours tend to feel the journey paid off.

Atmosphere

The camping terraces open onto wide mountain views visible from many of the pitches. The air stays cool all day with a steady breeze moving through the tents, and even in busy seasons the camp strictly enforces its no-loud-noise rule, so at night the wind is pretty much all you hear — ideal for watching the sky change colour and letting the cool air carry you through the night.
