What makes it special

The camping ground sits right by the water, with open pitches that keep the river in view all day. Evening light reflects off the surface, and at night the open sky makes it a good spot for stargazing with no buildings blocking the view.

Atmosphere

On quieter days the whole ground feels almost private, since it runs on a small, family scale rather than packing in dozens of tents. Most of what you hear is the water and the trees, so weekday visitors looking to avoid crowded sites often get the place nearly to themselves.

Getting there

Located in Nakhon Pathom, the site is an easy drive from Bangkok, which suits campers with only a night or two to spare. There is parking on site, and the ground accepts car camping, so gear can be unloaded right next to the pitch.

Food & supplies

There is no need to carry all your food in: a Thai moo krata and jim jum restaurant sits at the entrance, and a convenience store delivers right up to the ground, which saves hauling supplies from home. A dish-washing area is also provided on site.
