Notes from our team

Who it suits: Great for anyone who enjoys easy lakeside camping, whether rooftop or regular tents, and there are rooms if you'd rather skip the tent. The owners are warm and helpful, lend gear you forgot, and run a small cafe for food and drinks. Do prepare for wind day and night, chilly midnight air, and some mosquitoes at dusk.
Facilities: The bathrooms here are genuinely clean, with 2 showers each for men and women and good water pressure, though no hot water, so bring your own shampoo and soap. There's a washing basin with dish soap, and you can borrow a traditional washing machine (bring your own detergent) and hang laundry out back.
Pets & families: The camping ground is soft, open grass with plenty of space, so families camping next to each other never feel cramped and kids have room to run around. The owners have CCTV around the site, and electricity points are available near the parking area, making it easy for whole families to stay.
