Notes from our team

Atmosphere: The grounds sit by Bueng Khong Long with an open view over the water, and what stands out is how quiet the site stays — tent zones and the service point are laid out in an orderly, unhurried way. Mornings begin with hot rice porridge you can eat while looking out over the lake, and on many evenings the owner takes guests out to watch the Naga fireballs on the Mekong, a signature of this area.
Facilities: Toilets and showers are kept clean throughout, with hot water for bathing, plus electricity, running water, wifi and parking across the site. Both tent pitching and sleeping in your car are supported. Another option is the dome rooms, though note they get fairly warm during the day — best to plan daytime activities away from the camp.
