Nakhon Nayok
4.2(5 reviews)

Huai Sai Thong Reservoir in Nakhon Nayok province offers a camping area beside the water in a quiet and secure environment with minimal noise or disturbances. The site operates without on-site staff and does not provide toilet facilities, so visitors should come prepared. Campers need to bring their own food and beverages or purchase supplies from village shops before entering the reservoir area. The location provides parking space and permits campfire use. Notes from our team

Value for money
Camping here is free with no entry fee, and parking and campfires are available. The trade-off is limited facilities: no permanent shops, and some areas have litter and burn marks from illegal camping. For a zero-cost stay where you manage things yourself, it works.
Food & supplies
On weekdays there are no vendors on site at all, so bring all food and drinks with you — a picnic setup is the way to go. Weekends see a few stalls and a small coffee stand, but don't count on them as your main supply.

Very quiet when we visited on a afternoon. No vendors on site for a drink or anything to eat. Suggest taking a picnic if you are going during the week. Views are ok but not special. Visited various reservoirs around Nakhon Nayok and there are better than this. View point was a bit underwhelming. Bit dirty in places. Maybe it comes alive at weekends?

Love the atmosphere. Peaceful on weekday. Unfortunately too many trash and burnt from illegal camping. Let's keep this beautiful pond clean and tidy.
