Getting there: Access road is dirt and red soil, short stretch with a steep one-way hill. Small cars can make it, but low-clearance vehicles should watch for rocks. Not advisable in rainy season when wet.
Who it suits: Suited to tent campers wanting a 360-degree mountain view close to Bangkok, doable as a day trip. Note that AIS signal doesn't reach the house zone, so bring a backup internet plan.
Value for money: Booked per plot at 499 baht each — pitch as many tents and bring as many people as you like on your plot. House rentals available too. Book via the camp's Facebook page, but watch out for double bookings.
