This is a fantastic public rest area located right along the Ubol Ratana Dam road—the perfect place to pull over and recharge during your drive. The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal. There’s a constant, cool breeze blowing in, creating a tranquil environment ideal for quiet relaxation. The setting is ideal for simply unwinding. The weather today was pure perfection: cloudy skies with no harsh sun, and the temperature hovering around 27-28°C. The area is quite convenient, offering everything you need for a quick stop: there are small shops, a local coffee shop, and plenty of spots to sit and chill. Parking is convenient right off the road, and clean restrooms are available. You can also walk down to a small "dirt beach" area by the reservoir's edge. The space is well-kept and looks like it would be a great spot for pitching a tent or setting up camp. If you're driving along the Ubol Ratana Dam, this spot is a mandatory stop for its amazing breeze and peaceful views.
