Who it suits: The grounds offer both grassy and rocky zones on flat, open land, and besides tent camping the site accepts car camping with its own parking. It works well for families with small children as well as solo campers, and weekdays are especially quiet.
Facilities: There are two clean bathroom points with strong water pressure and hot water heaters, plus a tidy dishwashing area. Electricity and water are available, free Wi-Fi is provided, and life vests and a hair dryer can be borrowed. CCTV covers the grounds.
Pets & families: Pets are allowed only on non-holiday Mondays through Thursdays, and may not enter the stream or walk inside the tent grounds. The campsite enforces its music and noise rules strictly, so campers respect one another, making it comfortable for families with children.
