Khao Nam Khang National Park

Khao Nam Khang National Park is located less than 80 kilometers from Hat Yai, offering a cool and comfortable climate at 23.5 degrees Celsius. A stream flows through the park, separating the office area from the camping zone, connected by a suspension bridge or accessible by car. The park features two large wooden platforms where multiple 2-person tents can be set up. These elevated platforms protect from flash floods and offer beautiful views with the soothing sounds of streams from Ton Lat Waterfall. The area receives sunlight only from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, then enjoys tree shade for the rest of the day. Clean restroom facilities include one shower room and two toilet rooms, separated by gender. Two nature trails are available: one leading to Ton Lat Waterfall and another nature study path. A historical Communist base from 1972 lies just 4 kilometers from the park, featuring tunnels carved into clay mountains extending about 1 kilometer with 3 levels. Only AIS mobile network has coverage; True network has no signal.
