We were there today to get a feel for the campsite for our @MyCamper hire in Phuket. It's a real shame that no one was there and 80% of the site was flooded. The island is accessed by ferry five times a day. It's a truly awful ferry; you practically have to reverse onto it almost blind. Our decision: no matter how beautiful it is there in the dry season, we won't be allowing our 2mil campervan on it.

Superb. First time camping on this island. Superb facilities and very helpful & friendly staff. Just 250m walk along the beach to a restaurant.

We booked a camping tent(new year day 2026), and oh—what a view! Both the night and daytime views were absolutely heaven. If you are looking for a peaceful beachside camping experience, this is the perfect choice. We spent our entire day and night at the beach in complete peace. It was so calm and relaxing, and we could enjoy watching the sunset beautifully. I highly recommend this experience and would love to visit many more times. There is also a helpful staff member who assisted us with getting food. If we informed them in advance, they arranged the food quickly for both morning and night. If you prefer cooking or grilling, that option is also available. You can easily spend the whole day there without getting bored if you are looking for a peaceful time. The tent bathrooms are shared, but they are clean and well maintained.

Highly recommend staying in this camping with your own tent or one of the big ones they offer. Wilson, the owner, is very kind and generous. The camping it’s situated at the end of the island, next to a small resort where you can enjoy lovely dinners and another camping. It’s the perfect place if you want to be isolated with the beautiful sea of Thailand.
