Kohkhokhao Camping

Camping site on Koh Kho Khao island, accessible by taking car on ferry across the water. Ferry fee is 200 baht per car, no charge for passengers. Ferry runs on schedule, first on last off. Small boats available for motorcycles without waiting. Camp located at the end of the main road on the island, single main road so no worry about getting lost. Has restaurant and bungalows, no need to cook yourself. Best sunset viewing point in Thailand, along Andaman Sea parallel to Khao Na Yak and Laem Phrom Thep in Phuket. Million stars at night, Milky Way visible at dawn. Designated dark sky conservation area in Thailand.
