Kohkhokhao Camping

Kohkhokhao Camping is located on Koh Kho Khao island in Phangnga province. Access requires taking a car ferry to the island, with a fee of 200 baht per vehicle and no charge for passengers. The ferry operates on a fixed schedule with vehicles boarding first and disembarking last. Motorcyclists can use smaller boats without waiting for scheduled departures. The campsite sits at the end of the island's single main road, making navigation straightforward. An on-site restaurant and bungalows provide dining options for those who prefer not to cook. Visitors can enjoy kayaking, swimming, and beachside barbecues along the Andaman Sea coastline, which runs parallel to Khao Na Yak and Laem Phrom Thep in Phuket. The site is recognized for its sunset views over the ocean. As a designated dark sky conservation area, the location offers excellent conditions for stargazing and viewing the Milky Way during early morning hours. Facilities include electricity, water supply, restrooms, and showers. The camping fee is 150 baht, and equipment rental is available.
