Camping Hill&Cafe

Ratchaburi
4.6(5 reviews)

Camping Hill&Cafe is a campsite in Ratchaburi province nicknamed the 'Sapan Ratchaburi' for its panoramic hilltop views of the Tenasserim mountain range, often shrouded in morning mist during rainy or cold season. Located in Suan Phueng district, the tent site costs 200 THB per person per night, and campers must bring their own tent and gear since no rental is available. Minimalist triangular fan-cooled bungalows start at 1,200 THB per night for 2 guests with shared bathrooms. This is a pet-friendly campsite where dogs and cats are welcome in the open-air zone, though owners must inform staff of the pet type in advance. The uphill road is steep in sections but passable by regular cars and motorcycles, requiring extra caution especially in the rainy season. AIS has the most stable phone signal here. The campsite strictly enforces quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM and does not accept bookings for groups larger than 8 people, so advance reservation is strongly recommended due to limited daily capacity.

The view is stunning, and the cafe area is a bit small. On the day we arrived, it was raining continuously due to Typhoon Kalmangi. The surrounding atmosphere was beautiful, with fog everywhere. My only complaints are: 1. When it rains at the cafe, visitors often have trouble waiting for their food. After shopping, they have to leave immediately, as the outdoor area is unavailable. 2. The restrooms are quite dirty. The floors and walls are unclean. Some rooms have problems with the water system, and the water is a scary brown color. 3. The access is steep and requires extreme caution. 4. If you're staying at a place where you can set up tents, it would be better to have separate restrooms from those for the cafe visitors.

It climbs steeply. The view is fantastic. It's a nice place to sit. They serve delicious cakes, pizza, and a few other snacks.

Scenic camping space with good cafe selling drinks & snacks at reasonable price… only drawback is camping space is too cramped & parking gets pretty packed during weekends… but the views of hill range during sunset & sunrise with clouds pack will be worth spending… 200B per tent if you are carry your own tent.. they also have camping tents for rent… cafe if good option for quick snack… worth staying for night

Wonderland 360 degrees of mist covered nearby mountains. Great pastries, coffees and a variety of local snacks, fruits ( best grapes ) and just a great vibe of those whom venture here. Only open for 3 weeks yet Camping Hill & Cafe appears to be on many radars !! 2 white cabin huts and many tent ⛺ only campsites, bring your own gear. Super nice young owners 👏
