Doi Soi Malai is located within Doi Soi Malai National Park in Tak Province. The site permits vehicle entry only between 7:00 and 15:00, with camping spots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis without advance booking. The camping area sits at an elevated location overlooking Tak town and surrounding green ridges, accommodating approximately 3 to 5 tents. The site has no electricity or mobile phone signal. Campers may cook on site but must carry all waste back down the mountain. Toilet and shower facilities are provided. Available activities include hiking, cycling, sunrise viewing, stargazing, viewpoint and sea of mist observation, wildlife watching, and campfire building. Alcohol is prohibited and noise must be kept low after 22:00. Access requires a high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicle or suitable mountain motorcycle due to the 10-kilometer route of rocky and red dirt terrain, which takes approximately 1.5 hours to traverse. A checkpoint is located 5 kilometers before the summit. The site operates annually from December 1 to June 30. Camping is free of charge and equipment rental is not available.

Beautiful place for road cycling. Doi Soi Malai is a 16km climb from the Tak side. Perfect tarmac and epic views
Very dangerous road to camp, but environment is incredible. Friendly people. Such a clean place.
Road was closed and not allowed to enter. Supposed to open next month 1st November. Not sure if can trust that 100% maybe can check forestry department and if lucky somebody might know. Have a plan B just in case
