As probably one of the last family camping adventures as the seasonal weather becomes a little too hot and sticky we decided to visit the Elephant Kingdom Jungle Camp. We arrived and were immediately met by one of the staff who helped us select a fantastic location right on the river. Tent erected we were then introduced to two amazing elephants who were clearly bas excited as us to take a cool dip in the river. It was clear to see that these animals are extremely cared for and respected by the staff and soon we were joined by several other elephants again keen to wallow and play happily in the cool water. They do have a duel pricing systems for foreigners but unless you are really bothered about joining them in the water you will still enjoy the spectacle from the river bank. The camp site provided clean toilets and showers that are illuminated at night, the staff are amazing and treated us extremely well during our stay. I would fully recommend this adventure and look forward to visiting again in the cooler months.
