Camping at Golden Camp, Pong Krathing Hot Springs Golden Camp offers a vast, well-leveled camping ground. The site is meticulously maintained, with staff regularly clearing fallen branches to keep the area tidy. The View: The landscape features a serene waterfront looking out towards a distant bridge, all set against a stunning mountain backdrop. Facilities & Setup: Electricity: Power poles are stationed at intervals throughout the site. You’ll need to bring your own extension cords to plug in. Shade: Trees are primarily located around the perimeter of the field rather than in the center. Restrooms: Located near the main house. The women's restroom includes a dedicated dishwashing zone, while the men's does not. The showers are quite clean with impressively strong water pressure. Lighting: String lights are turned on at night, providing enough visibility to walk around safely. Food & Service: Breakfast is served at the main house. However, the service can be quite slow—so much so that you might feel tempted to jump into the kitchen and help them out! The Atmosphere: I visited during a regular weekend (not a long holiday), so it wasn't crowded. The night was peaceful enough for a good sleep, though be prepared for the continuous, rhythmic "concert" of croaking marsh frogs that lasts late into the night.
