Huai Songsai Camp sits beside the Huai Songsai reservoir in Tha Yang district, Phetchaburi province, approximately two hours from Bangkok. The site offers three camping areas with 360-degree views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. Located near Pha Nam Yod waterfall, the camp provides a quiet environment where birdsong is a common feature. Mosquitoes and flies are rarely an issue. Daytime temperatures remain comfortable with a steady breeze, while nights are cool enough that fans are typically unnecessary. The grounds include ample tree cover and shaded tree tunnels. Visitors may fish at no additional charge, set up tarps freely, and bring pets without extra fees. Children under 10 enter free of charge. Facilities include restrooms, showers, water supply, viewpoints, barbecue areas, and parking. The site does not have electricity for plug-in devices as power has not reached this location, but solar lighting illuminates both camping areas and restrooms. The rate is 150 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.

Spent overnight last week. 1st time to do this camping type of activity. Staff was friendly and helpful. They pitched 3 tents in the location we chose. Help pitch the tents and i could say it is not easy and not very intuitive... abt 30 mins each tent. There was a lake we did some fishing (no joy, didnt catch anything). Staff are friendly but they dont stay on the camp ground overnight so you are on your own. Basic amenities bathroom shower are available. No power supply so bring your powerbank and no for electric kettle, elect stove etc. Bring your own lighting, chairs and tables (suggested to owner to provide them for a fee to use by "occasional" campers. I suppose veteran campers have all of this. Overall very nice experience... it's the first time in a long time i have seen a clear night and stars in the sky. Also, fireflies all around... haven't seen them since i was a kid.
Very good camp site. Clean, safe, quiet, very peaceful. Near Bangkok. Good facilities. Highly recommended!
Great place for camping, especially during weekdays, the places is basically yours.
very well maintained campsite alongside a reservoir with scenic views.
Really nice location. Camp will be your on weekday. But for weekend Gamping will erase your view.
