Notes from our team

Who it suits
This spot suits anyone who genuinely wants to disconnect — there is no phone signal and no internet at the tent ground, just the sound of flowing water at night. If real quiet away from the outside world is what you are after, you will find it here. But come between November and February and pack properly warm layers: night temperatures can drop to 8 degrees Celsius.
Facilities
There are two toilet points with running water, showers on site, and parking available. The tent ground sits along a stream fed by the waterfall, which is safe enough for a dip. The rare feature here is the complete absence of phone signal — anyone who needs to work or stay online should sort things out before arriving.

Wind Hills Valley

Wind Hills Valley

Nakhon Ratchasima

Wind Hills Valley sits at the highest and most remote point on Khao Yai Thiang in Sikhio district, a campsite in Nakhon Ratchasima province renowned for its panoramic cliff views across every angle. The fee is 200 THB per person per night, and advance booking is required. Electricity is available from 18:00–22:00, and the on-site kitchen serves food, drinks, and Thai BBQ (moo kratha) from 07:00–19:00. Toilets are separated by gender and come with hot-water showers; there is also a shop with free ice. Phone signal is AIS only and weak. On clear nights, stars are highly visible and sea of fog is possible in the right season. As a newly opened site, some facilities are still being completed — water pressure is low and power outlets are limited — so the camp itself recommends waiting until construction is finished before visiting.
