Water & swimming: Ko Luang waterfall is known for its clear blue water, which runs cold and deep, so a life jacket and rangers' guidance are required; the park rents life jackets in many sizes. The top tier is photo-viewing only, with no swimming allowed, and the rocks are slippery when walking for photos.
Best time to go: The waterfall's signature clear blue color is at its best in the hot season, when the water is exceptionally clear. If you plan to swim, midday sunshine helps take the edge off the cold water. The blue tone also shows well in the cool season.

What a perfect place. Clean, well-kept, relaxing, very beautiful. You can go into the water, the walk is not difficult. There are clean toilets, there is a picnic area, there is a snack shop and a woman with a cart selling grilled chicken.
